Our Staff
Sharon Swinson
Sharon has been with the Wee School program from the beginning and became the Program Director that same year. She has also been the lead teacher for the 3 year old class the past seven years. This school year Sharon will work full time in our PMO program while continuing to direct the program. She enjoys her job because she absolutley loves working with children! Sharon is a mother of four and a proud grandmother of two.
Clara Ann Ivy
Clara Ann has worked as a teacher assistant in the 3 year old class for the past seven years. She is a dedicated and caring teacher. This year Clara Ann will be working in our PMO program full time. Her and her husband have two daughters.
Lauren Chapman
Lauren is the lead teacher in the four year old class. She graduated from North Greenville University with a Bachelors degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. Her concentrations were Early Childhood Education and Psychology. Lauren and her husband Bradley have a 13 month old son. This will be Lauren’s first year teaching preschool and she is beyond excited.
Teresa Higdon
Teresa is the three year old lead teacher. She is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a degree in Early Childhood Education. She has 8 years of experience teaching elementary school, primarily in first grade. Teresa and her husband have 3 daughters the youngest is in our 2 year old Wee School class. Teresa is currently her daughters’ Girl Scout troop leader.
Lisa Baker
Lisa is the floating assistant in the 3 and 4 year old classes Tues - Thursday and will be working in our PMO program on Fridays. Lisa and her husband have three sons and a wonderful daughter-in-law. She is very excited to be working with the families at Wee School and Parents Morning Out. Lisa’s favorite past time is watching her son play baseball.
Lori Farris
Lori is the lead teacher in the two year old class. Lori is a graduate of Clemson University with a degree in Early Childhood Education and a Masters in Education from Columbia College. She is also Nationally Board Certified. Lori taught in the public schools for 13 years. Lori and her husband Matt have two children who are in our 3 and 4 year old Wee School classes. She is very excited to get back in the classroom.
Melaine Bristol
Melaine is the assistant in the 2 year old class.
